Joao Trujillo has a bachelor of Arts in Music, specialized in the Violin. He is extremely passionate about hi instrument and is a highly talented musician and because of this he always continued to grow therefore in 2016 he developed his skills in playing the electric bass in addition to playing popular double bass at an extremely high level. He was always interested in different genres of music

and developed his skills as an arranger and composer and also focused on strengthening his piano skills as well.

Apart from being a great performer he also enjoys teaching and worked on several projects with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Granma, in Cuba. In 2015 he won First Prize for the popular- folk music interpretation in the Music

Marz Festival.

In 2018 he Participated in the Amigos Del Jazz Festival and the JazzNama Festival in Santiago de Cuba as well as the JazzPlaza International Festival giving him great exposure to playing the violin not just as a classical musician but in different genres. Another achievement was in 2019 when he won the first Prize in the Jo Jazz International Contest for Yong Musicians. Joao has played in many symphony orchestras such as the Sinfónica de Oriente in Santiago de

Cuba and the chamber orchestra San Salvador de Bayamo. Guided by the advisors of the Suzuki method in Cuba, he has made 2 editions of the Suzuki Violin Concerto in the city of Bayamo applying the techniques and philosophies

of the teacher Sinishi Suzuki with younger children. We are excited to have such a young talent in our institute and we appreciate his kind, humble approach as an artist and teacher.
