Ballet

Our Ballet program follows a structured progression, starting with Preliminary and Class Examination levels, available from age five. From there, students advance through Grades 1 to 8, building technique, artistry, and confidence at each stage.

Once the initial grades are mastered, dancers can explore further professional and performance pathways, refining their skills for stage or teaching opportunities. In addition, we offer junior and senior medal tests to inspire a deeper sense of dance quality and performance excellence.

Our primary-ballet classes are the perfect early introduction to the world of ballet. While still filled with joyful spins, leaps, and bright smiles, these lessons begin to focus more on technique and the graceful discipline of ballet. Children in this age group start to learn proper alignment, how to use the barre, and the fundamental ballet positions that form the foundation for all future dance training.

In these inspiring classes, your child will:

  • Build muscle strength, balance, and endurance

  • Develop creativity by exploring different types of movement

  • Learn structure, discipline, and ballet etiquette

  • Gain social skills through group interaction and teamwork

Primary ballet is not just about learning steps—it’s about nurturing a love for dance, boosting self-confidence, and giving children the tools to express themselves artistically. These sessions also help young dancers discover where their passion lies, whether they choose to continue with formal ballet or explore other styles such as contemporary, street, or hip hop.

By the end of the course, your child will not only have a solid foundation in ballet but also cherished memories and friendships that last beyond the studio.

Musicality and expression are also encouraged.
