Lanny J. Alarcón Barreiro is a Cuban musician. Violinist, singer and music teacher. She has worked in different musical projects interpreting different styles of music such as ancient music, classical music, Cuban music, jazz, pop, soul, reggae, funk, among others. As a musician she was privileged to be part of several projects.

 

Among these projects is Ancient Music Ensemble "Exsulten", the Charanga Orchestra "El Gallo y su Orquesta", the Bayamo Symphony Orchestra of the Granma province, the Bayamo Camerata and also worked with the singer-songwriter William Vivando .She has shared stages with renowned Cuban musicians such as Evelio Tieles, Telmary Diaz, Mayco D ́Alma, David Torrens, among many others.

 

Working as a music teacher, she taught at the “Manuel Muñóz Cedeño” Bayamo Professional Art School and “Manuel Navarro Luna” School of Music in Manzanillo, located both in the Province of Granma which gave her splendid experience teaching and training different age sets in different settings.Lately she works as a violinist and singer in her personal project,a duo by the name "Jazzy de Cuba" where they perform in mainstream stages of the Cuban capital.
