Academic Advisor - Drum/Percussion
After graduating from the Conservatory of Music “Amadeo Roldan”, Ernesto Raymat taught percussion at the School of Music “Manuel Saumell” from 2008 to 2010. He has gained the experience of Teaching classical percussion to students between 10 to 15 years old and developing their skills and technique by conducting the school´s Jazz Band. In 2008 he was selected as the percussion professor for the Youth Symphonic Orchestra “Amadeo Roldan”, together with the Conductor Maestro Guido López-Gavilan to teach classical percussion.
These 4 years of teaching, gave him the skills to deal with students between 15 to 18 years old learning new methods and techniques to deal with musicians of all ages.In December 2014 he was hired for a 2 month period by the “Stanislava Munioszky School of Music” from Lodz, Poland, to do master classes and specialized training focusing on theoretical and practical workshops for Cuban Music and its influences in modern Latin Jazz. His teaching methods included drum kit as well as most Latin percussion instruments.
